Zev Halpern is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in Olney, Maryland, where he provides confidential counseling, facilitates support groups, and conducts workshops for individuals, families, corporations, and community based organizations. Beyond the scope of his general counseling practice, he specializes in couples counseling, men's issues, divorce recovery, bereavement and counseling young adults.

Mr. Halpern is an experienced trainer, educator, therapist, and speaker who has helped thousands of individuals resolve personal and work-related issues.

Mr. Halpern is the founder of Occupational Program and Training Associates, Inc. (OPT), an organizational intervention, work/family life and Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) services for public and private sector organizations in the Baltimore-Washington area. Since 1989, OPT has provided dynamic programming aimed at improving management effectiveness, as well as assisting workers with personal problems which impede their performance.

As a result of Mr. Halpern's professional commitment to providing practical solutions for human growth and development needs, Mr. Halpern founded The Center for Counseling Education and Opportunity (CEO) a non-profit 501(C) 3 organization. The Center for CEO is dedicated to the design and implementation of innovative programs for schools, parent groups, and community organizations.

Mr. Halpern's latest venture involves the establishment of Cyberscreamer Enterprises, Inc., an online community providing an outlet for stress relief through humor, E-Therapy, E-Coaching and interactive communication features.
